Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and a username. Sign-in is passwordless — we email you a one-time link or code, so no password is ever created or stored. You may optionally provide your country so it can appear next to your name on leaderboards.

Gameplay data. We store your game results, scores, streaks, ratings, and in-progress game state so your stats and progress work across devices.

Anonymous play. If you play without creating an account, we create an anonymous account so your progress is saved. If you later sign up, that progress is merged into your account.

Payment information. If you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details — we only keep a record of your subscription status and billing identifiers needed to provide the service.

Approximate location. On first use we may look up the country associated with your IP address to suggest a default country for your profile. We do not collect precise location.

Feedback. If you send feedback or a bug report, we keep the message and any contact email you choose to include, along with basic technical details such as your browser version.

How We Use Information

We use this information to operate the games, save your progress, show leaderboards, manage subscriptions, respond to feedback, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Service Providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run Worldly: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and Stripe (payment processing). Each receives only the data needed to perform its role and handles it under its own privacy terms.

Cookies and Sessions

We use cookies and browser storage solely to keep you signed in and to remember your game progress and preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page, which permanently removes your profile, gameplay data, and entitlements. Records we are required to keep (such as billing audit history) may be retained without your account association.

Children

Worldly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
