FAQ

What is Worldly Games?

Worldly Games is a collection of daily geography puzzles. Each game mode tests a different aspect of your world knowledge — from identifying country outlines to ranking nations by statistics. A new set of puzzles is available every day at midnight, and every game also has a practice mode you can play anytime.

What map data does Worldly Games use?

Worldly Games uses Natural Earth II data and follows de facto borders (actual control on the ground), not de jure borders (what is legally claimed). This means the map reflects the current real-world situation rather than disputed legal boundaries.

How are scores calculated?

Each game mode has its own scoring. In general, fewer guesses means a higher score. Your daily results are tracked and can be shared. Visit the leaderboard to see how you compare to other players.

Can I play more than once a day?

The daily puzzle for each game can only be played once. If you want more practice, every game mode has a Practice Mode that generates unlimited random puzzles.

Do I need an account?

No — you can start playing right away as a guest, and your progress is saved on the device you're using. Creating a free account keeps your stats, streaks, and history safe and lets you sync across devices, so you can pick up where you left off anywhere. When you sign up, the progress from your guest session comes with you.

When do new puzzles arrive?

A fresh set of daily puzzles unlocks every day at midnight America/Denver time. The countdown on the home page shows exactly how long until the next set. Everyone plays the same daily puzzles, so you can compare with friends.
